How much time does it take for rehabilitation?
Fractional CO2 Laser treatment is an ablative procedure, when a laser vaporizes the uppermost layer of the skin.
Laser influence on the skin can be compared with a sunburn, we recommend our patients to be ready for 2 weeks of downtime for recovery. During this period the skin can be red and exfoliate. We do not recommend to complete a treatment before important events in patient’s life. The rehabilitation process and skin care after the treatment will be discussed with a doctor before a procedure.
The skin after the treatment becomes smoother and firmer in comparison with the skin before a procedure has been done. Skin lines become milder and skin tone becomes more even.
The visible result will be in 6 weeks after the treatment has been done. Some patients will need extra procedures in order to get an ideal result.
Visible results after the procedure will be noticed during the decades if a patient takes care of the skin correctly.
