Andrei Detochenko (MD)
Dr Detochenko earned his diploma of Doctor of Medicine in 1986 and completed his surgical residency training from 1986-1988. He has attended additional training courses in Estonia, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, France, the United States, Thailand, China, Russia and elsewhere.
Specialisation: plastic surgery, general surgery, minimally invasive reconstructive foot surgery (hallux valgus, hammertoe, etc.), phlebology, proctology, etc. In plastic surgery, Dr Detochenko specialises in corrective breast surgery (lifting, enlargement and reduction), body sculpting, fat transplantations (breast, buttocks, etc.), scar removal with laser, face rejuvenation, etc.
He is the only surgeon in Estonia who is a member of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Surgery (AAFAS) in the United States. Dr Detochenko has thorough knowledge of minimally invasive foot surgery techniques, having studied them under the world-renowned Professor Stephen Isham. He always works with patients to find a minimally invasive method with a short recovery period.
In addition to the AAFAS, he is a member of the Estonian Association of Surgeons, the Baltic Phlebology Association, the Estonian Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Estonian Association of Private Healthcare Facilities.
Aivar Tilk, MD
Dr Aivar Tilk is a urologist with extensive and international clinical experience, having worked in the United States, Israel, Norway, and Finland. His diverse professional background across different healthcare systems provides a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective on the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions.
Dr Tilk’s high level of professional expertise is confirmed by the FEBU certification of the European Association of Urology (European Board of Urology), which is an internationally recognised mark of quality in the field of urology. In addition, he is a member of the Estonian Urological Society and actively contributes to the development of the specialty and continuing professional education.
In his daily clinical practice, Dr Tilk applies modern diagnostic and treatment methods, including complex oncological urological surgeries. His work is characterised by an evidence-based and patient-centred approach, with a strong emphasis on thorough diagnostics and individually tailored treatment plans.
Mart Eisen (MD)
Dr Eisen graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in 1976 and a few years later specialised in gastroenterology. In 1990 he studied at Erzsebet Hospital in Jászberény in Hungary under Professor A. I. Figus.
Dr Eisen has attended additional training courses in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Finland, the United States, Poland, France, Austria and Belgium.
From 1977-2000 he worked as a gastroenterologist and oncologist in the Oncology Centre (currently part of the North Estonia Medical Centre). From 2000-2006 he was the Head of the Endoscopy Department of the Oncology Centre of the North Estonia Medical Centre and since 2006 he has worked in the same department in the position of gastroenterologist and senior doctor.
Specialisation: diagnostics of tumours of the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestine (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, etc.).
Yuri Zolotaryev (MD)
Dr Zolotaryev graduated from the Military Medical Academy in St Petersburg in 1973 and acquired higher education in military surgery from 1982-1984. He specialised in microsurgery in 1987. Dr Zolotaryev has attended a number of additional training courses in hand surgery, proctology and orthopaedics. From 1987-1994 he was the Head of the Surgery Department of the Marine Hospital and later worked as a surgeon at Kallavere Hospital.
Specialisation: general surgery, hand surgery, proctology and orthopaedics.
Dr Zolotaryev says that because of his 45-year career in medicine he has reached a point at which he has seen everything and that nothing surprises him. His extensive medical experience helps him always choose the most effective method of treatment for his patients.
Aleksandr Detochenko (MD)
Dr Detochenko graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu and completed a five-year surgical residency programme at the same university.
He has attended additional training courses in Estonia, Latvia, France, Thailand, China and Russia.
Specialisation: general surgery, phlebology, colorectal and plastic surgery.
As a representative of the new generation of surgeons, Dr Detochenko prefers to use minimally invasive and non-traumatic techniques. He provides patients with a through overview of the pluses and minuses of various methods, helping them to choose the most suitable and effective procedure.
Dr Detochenko is a member of the Estonian Association of Junior Physicians, the Estonian Association of Surgeons and the Baltic Phlebology Association.
Eduard Rumyantsev (MD)
Dr Rumyantsev graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu and completed a five-year surgical residency programme at the same university. He has worked as the head of an ambulance crew and as an ambulance doctor. Dr Rumyantsev has attended additional training courses in Estonia and Latvia.
Specialisation: general surgery, phlebology and proctology.
Thorough and meticulous in his work, Dr Rumyantsev is a representative of the new generation of surgeons, helping patients overcome their problems as quickly as possible. He is a proponent of minimally invasive surgery, but does not entirely rule out traditional surgery if it is necessary. Due to his professional experience in the field of emergency medicine he is able to provide assistance in non-surgical problems as well.
Dr Rumyantsev is a member of the Estonian Association of Junior Physicians, the Estonian Association of Surgeons and the Baltic Phlebology Association.
