A scar tissue\u00a0 is formed in the place of hemorrhoid, holding nearby veins so they do not bulge into the anal canal.<\/p>\n<p>If hemorrhoid ligation treatment is held in doctor\u2019s office, 1 or 2 hemorrhoidal tumors may be treated at a time. Three or more hemorrhoidal tumors are treated using general anesthesia only.
