Rafaelo procedure

Radiofrequency ablation or Rafaelo procedure is based on thermocoagulation. Hemorrhoidal tissue is warmed up during the procedure thus it leads to necrosis and dropout of the hemorrhoidal tumors. During radiofrequency ablation, which is held under local anesthesia, a doctor enters a special probe to a hemorrhoidal tumor. Radiofrequency energy impulses coagulate hemorrhoidal tumors and block blood vessels that nitrify them.

Hemorrhoid laser ablation

A diode laser is used during hemorrhoid laser ablation. Thin fiber-optics laser inserts into a hemorrhoidal tumor by using a local anesthesia. Laser energy blocks the hemorrhoidal tumor inside. The treatment is held in community setting with minimal pain and there is ashort recovery period.

Rubber band ligation of hemorrhoid

Rubber band ligation is a procedure when the hemorrhoid is tied off at its base by rubber bands in order to cut off the blood flow to the hemorrhoid.

Hemorrhoid sclerotherapy

Astringent medicine is used during hemorrhoid sclerotherapy treatment. This medicine calms down irritable hemorrhoidal tissue in order to decrease blood supply thus it helps to release the haemorrhoid itself and its symptoms.

Mucopexy can be combined with hemorrhoid laser ablation or with rubber band ligation treatment. The procedure is followed as by local anesthesia as by general anesthesia.

Fistula or anal fistula

Fistula is an abnormal phologotic process between anal canal and perianal tissue. Fistula is usually caused by injury.

Anal Fissure

Anal fissure is a tear in the anal canal, it leads to pain during bowel movements. Anal fissure is a widespread problem, it is common as for men as for women at any age, but fissure is a problem of young, healthy people.
